Angie Chau is associate professor of literature and film in the Department of Pacific and Asian Studies at the University of Victoria, and the author of Paris and the Art of Transposition: Early Twentieth Century Sino-French Encounters (U of Michigan Press, 2023). Her research on Chinese literature, popular culture, visual art, film, and translation has appeared in journals such as Modern Chinese Literature and Culture, Concentric, and Chinese Literature Today, and various edited volumes.
