Intro to Colored Pencils

Explore the vibrant world of colored pencils as you learn to blend colors! This beginner-friendly workshop will guide you through techniques for blending colors, building texture, layering, and experimenting with the rich, painterly qualities of colored pencils.

Supply list:

• Colored pencils – a basic set with a variety of colors
• Drawing or mixed media paper – approximately 9x12 inches
• Blending tools – blending stump, soft cloth (such as a paper towel or cotton swab)
• Pencil and eraser
• Pencil sharpener

Optional:

• Reference photo for inspiration​

This online workshop is facilitated by Valencia Carroll. Instruction is provided for free; participants are responsible for gathering their own supplies.
