Poetry in the Park: Summertide Festival
with Clallam County Poet Laureate Nellie Bridge

Meet the authors, enjoy live readings, and hear from the Poet Laureate at the Port Angeles Fine Arts Center!
Olympic Peninsula Authors has selected 18 local poets to read their poems on the theme of “Cultivation of Hope Through Nature” for Poetry in the Park 2026, celebrated during the Summertide Solstice Art Festival.
Their poems will also be installed throughout Webster's Woods Sculpture Park, inviting visitors to discover it along the trails and experience a self-guided poetry walk.
Clallam County Poet Laureate Nellie Bridge, who served as a judge for this year's poetry selection, will be sharing remarks and a reading of her own work.
About the Summertide Festival:
Entry to Summertide at the Port Angeles Fine Arts Center is free/by donation. The full event runs from 12:30-5pm.
