Read your free copy of The Guardian Test and get ready for a four-day TTRPG fantasy adventure.
Story Quest combines a book club with the adventure of a tabletop role-playing game (TTRPG)! Fourth graders will read and discuss a fantasy book, then play a TTRPG campaign set in the book's world. No TTRPG experience required—we will learn as we play together!
Registration required. Participants must attend all four dates.
Pick up your book (to keep!) beginning November 15. Registered participants can stop by the front desk of the Port Angeles Main Library to pick up a copy of The Guardian Test by Christina Soontornvat to read on their own before the adventure begins. Additional formats are available to borrow.
Spend your winter break on a Story Quest adventure.
About The Guardian Test
If young Plum can’t embrace her magical animal Guardian form, she’ll have to leave the elite Guardian Academy―and lose the first group of real friends she’s ever known.
About TTRPGs
TTRPGs are interactive storytelling games played by groups of people. Players immerse themselves in the world of the game via a character of their own creation, problem-solve, collaborate with others, and even direct the story themselves!
This project is made possible by the Institute of Museum and Library Services through the Library Services and Technology Act, with funding administered by the Washington State Library, a division of the Office of the Secretary of State. This program is funded in part by the Port Angeles Friends of the Library.
