Nellie will guide tweens and teens in middle school through an engaging and relaxed creative writing experience inspired by imaginative “seed” words. These carefully chosen words will act as starting points to spark ideas to grow your own unique stories, poems, or short scenes. No need to worry about perfection! This workshop is about exploring your creativity and experimenting with language.
Middle schoolers of all experience levels are welcome, from beginners who are just starting to explore writing to those who already enjoy storytelling. By the end of the session, participants will leave with new ideas, greater confidence in their creative abilities, and the understanding that even the smallest “seed” can grow into something meaningful and imaginative.
