Come to the Sequim Library for a livestreamed chat with the author of "They Called Us Enemy." Doors open at 1:30pm for this special Sunday event.
George Takei, actor and author, will join Library Directors from LA County Library and Long Beach Public Library in a conversation about his memoir, They Called Us Enemy. Selected for the 2026 One Book, One Coast community reading event, the memoir explores the forced removal and incarceration of Japanese Americans during World War II.

The Sequim Library and Forks Library are both providing a screening of this livestreamed event. Library doors open at 1:30pm. The two-hour event begins at 2:00pm.

The author talk will also be livestreamed and recorded on Zoom and YouTube. If you prefer to join remotely, register through LA County Library for the Zoom link or watch on YouTube (the YouTube link will be active at a later date).
