Use art materials to make your own zine (short for fanzine or magazine), a DIY self-publication.
Use materials provided by the Washington State Library Circulating STEAM Kits to make your own zines. Write a poem, a short story, or create a memoir. The sky is the limit!
Participants can try out self-publishing and DIY culture using zines as a medium. Zines can explore any topic and any genre, and participants are encouraged to be creative with content, layout, and format.
